And in other news, Lambda Award winner Justin Hall—who saved my life and this comic by putting me in touch with Tana Ford for this chapter (see note under this page in case you missed that news)—is finally having his Kickstarter for the NO STRAIGHT LINES documentary—a documentary all about the history of queer comics! He and award-winning documentary filmmaker, Vivian Kleiman, have been working on this film for years. And if this Kickstarter is successful, they’ll finally be able to finish and get these stories about queer comics creators in front of a huge audience. I think the story of queer comics needs to get out there, and this film totally should be made. I’m a backer, so if you’d like to help out too, please check out their Kickstarter page.
