TYP Comments Section moderator Dave Fragments has begun posting a bunch of new and “out of print” short stories on his website, “Fragments Fiction.” Here was his inspiration for the first one he’s releasing: “Back in 2011, an earthquake and tsunami hit Japan and months later, a piece of the dock from Japan floated over to Oregon. The dock had to be intercepted and sterilized because it contained species of sea critters indigenous to Japan. Oregon was afraid of invasive species troubles. I thought other things traveled with the dock.” It’s called “Salvage the Dead” — and it’s just in time for Halloween — check it out. 🙂
