It’s my great pleasure to send out another, very special Woolfpack anniversary “thank you!” to the superheroes of this comic who have been supporting our work month after month!
First let me thank a pack member who has been supporting our work for the last 12 months as of this week (Nov 24-30):
Allison M.
(You totally rock, Allison!)
I’d like to send out a big thank you to members of the Woolfpack who have been supporting our work for 24 months of this week (Nov 24-30):
Paul B. and Hillary I.
(Two years of support! Thank you so much, Paul and Hillary!)
And a heroic thank you as well as for a Woolfpack member who has been supporting our work for 36 months of this week (Nov 24-30):
Brenden H.
(Three years of support! Thank you so much, Brenden!)
Thank you all so much for your amazing, ongoing support! It’s the consistent support that is what really allows me to continue making this comic. You all truly are superheroes!
So! Flyboy has come clean about the whole “I’m from the future!” situation. Didn’t see that coming! And now he’s asked for a very tall order from a guy who apparently doesn’t know him at all.
How will Flyboy possibly convince Young Spooky to help him? And if he can’t, what will he do?
Tune in this Saturday to find out! Hope to see you there!
Sadly Spooky is totally right there
But Mitch is as well! Maybe if he told him a few things about Spooky he knows from his past? Like the hell thing… to gain some trust? Then again it’s not exactly something you’d want to just bring up
So difficult…
I suspect Flyboy is wrong about the universe being as fragile as all that. Time travel shenanigans can have consequences, sure. Maybe there’ll be some inconsistency where someone who was dead will be alive again or someone will get a new origin story because their old one doesn’t make sense any more, but the universe will go on.
And how old is the Sphere Celestiale, anyway? Mitch, do you really think every Sphere user has been super-duper careful about timeline preservation? I’m reasonably sure you can tell Spooky a bit more about who you are and how you got there.
For what it’s worth, if Mitch has his communicator on him, ExSec might have already noticed its presence on the network. And let’s assume Commander isn’t the only telepath on Earth, and your DNA is on file at ExSec. I doubt you have the option to be anonymous, dude.
Haha, Mitch clearly takes his knowledge of how time travel works from Back to the Future and other such reliable sources. Nerrrrrrrrrd! (takes one to know one). But yeah, seeing how this is a superhero universe I’m sure messing with the continuum happens every now and then, if not through magic than through some kind of weird science or someone’s superpower.
One thing that Mitch might have recalled is that Spooky did say that his memory of his previous visit to the area is missing, the question is what exactly caused that. Also, I’m not sure Mitch’s powers have manifested yet (not sure if this has been covered somewhere), he’s the youngest of the Young Protectors, so it’s possible he’s not yet tagged by the government.
I don’t think it’s been mentioned exactly when Mitch’s powers first manifested, but it has been mentioned that before joining the Young Protectors, Mitch was an intern with the Connecticut Cavaliers, but he was kicked off that team for illegally fighting crime on his own. But we don’t know exactly when that was and could have happened after this time in Spooky’s career.
But I’m currently inclined to believe that Mitch is in Connecticut in this time period until we learn otherwise. (I also want Mitch’s powers to have been manifested really early in life, just so we can someday see a framed National Inquirer front page with the headline “MIRACLE FLYING BABY!” proudly displayed in the Thibeau household.)
“I’m in! What’s the plan? …You probably don’t have one, huh.” okay, so that’s probably not what’s gonna happen but I can’t help myself lolololol
eyyooo Mah Boy is back ( ̄▽ ̄)
