Holy cow! She got him!

Please note: These are work-in-progress colors. Vero should get me the final colors soon.

ANNIVERSARY PATRON THANK YOUS

Your continued support has always been the reason I’ve been able to continue making this comic. And I am especially grateful to our readers who continue to support this comic month-after-month during this time. Thank you for letting me continue to create these pages. Thank you for being the real superheroes of this comic.

And so, I hope everyone will please join me in wishing a very special Woolfpack anniversary “thank you!” to those Patrons who have been supporting our work for a year or more!

First let me thank pack members who have been supporting our work for the last 12 months as of this week (May 2-8):

JDC and Joshua Jon Z.

(You totally rock, JDC and Joshua Jon!)

I’d like to send out a big thank you to a member of the Woolfpack who has been supporting our work for 36 months of this week (May 2-8):

Paul A.

(Three years of support! Thank you so much, Paul!)

And a heroic thank you as well as for Woolfpack members who have been supporting our work for 48 months of this week (May 2-8):

Deem H., John-Guy L. and Caitlin T.

(Four years of support! Thank you so much, Deem, John-Guy and Caitlin!)

A huge thank you as well as for a Woolfpack member who has been supporting our work for 60 months of this week (May 2-8):

Murilo S.

(Five years of support! Thank you so much, Murilo!)

And let me also send out my biggest howl to those members of the Woolfpack who have been supporting this comic and our work from the very beginning!

These are the awesome readers who have been supporting me and this comic for 72 months (6 years!) as of this week (May 2-8):

Thank you so much, Steve, Christopher, Michael and Tomás! Y’all are so awesome!

Thank you all so much for your amazing, ongoing support! It’s the consistent support that is what really allows me to continue making this comic. You all truly are superheroes!

So!

So! Flyboy has got the cannon! Amanda has got The Man, and saved Spooky from the Flying Fish of Death at the same time! And there are only two minions left!

Will those minions be able to turn things around for The Man? Will Spooky be able to help Amanda keep The Man under control? And will they finally be able to save Daniela and get that Artifact Flyboy needs to go home?

Tune in this Saturday to find out! Hope to see you there!

And will Mitch be able to go home, even with the artifact? Can Spooky figure out how to make it do time travel? Can it even do time travel in its unbroken state? Will Spooky be able to save Anaado if and when he gets the artifact? Sparing Anaado five years of torture would be worth risking time paradoxes for, wouldn’t it? Will Mitch, if he manages to return, be able to save Spooky? What about mr. Van Dumas? So many questions.

While I would love for our team to have an undisputed full win on every count, I think the best we can hope for in this battle is a partial victory. For example, they might save Daniela and defeat all the minions, only for Shades and the artifact to make a quick exit. Or maybe they defeat Shades as well, but his master pops up out of the rubble. Or maybe the artifact gets activated again and causes all sorts of chaos. Or maybe Shades resorts to blood magic, and we know that’s always bad news.

I’ve been curious for quite some time why Shades seems to be after Spooky in particular and how the story will swerve and twist until there comes an opportunity for us to learn the reason too. If all the bad guys get arrested and go to magic jail, we’ll never know, and we can’t have that, can we?

Yes. And you asked some really great ones there, Klaus.

Thank you so much, Nate!

Thank you so much, TTwo! (And welcome back to the forum here!)

I like all of the possibilities you’ve raised here, David! That’s really fun speculation.

And I’m sure I’ll be able to satisfy your curiosity. At some point…

She got him… but did she get him?? Even if there’s not a (momentary plz) comeback on the next page-- well just look at @Klaus’s comment because gestures that.
