So! Cory has defeated the monsters that wanted to eat him! But the effort seems to have too much, and now he’s collapsed!

Is he going to be OK? And what exactly does that look in the Shepherd’s eyes mean? What do you think the Shepherd is going to do?

Tune in this Wednesday to find out! Hope to see you there! :grinning:

Those are indeed fangs, William.

We have seen him expend much more energy without exhausting himself.

Oh noes… But I’m not surprised at all that Cory overexerted himself there
By the way: Am I the only one that somehow thought Mr. Shepherd looks really similar to Cory? Apart from the skin colour and other extras I mean :joy:
I think it might just be the eyebrows

We are going to get 10 pages of this story at this time. This is page 8. It will be a long time indeed until we find out what these three wierd creatures are.

A pretty face, white clothes and golden wings. But then again blue skin, horns and fangs. A shepherd’s staff, but with a spear point. Never where signals more mixed.

However, he seems sympathetic to Cory’s plight. Most likely one of the good guys.

Those dino-monsters weighed in the tons. And he’s had a big day.

Interesting. I’ll keep an eye on that.

If there is interest for another installment, I think I’ll probably just finish out the chapter instead of posting scene-by-scene. We’ll see. But I don’t expect it will be limited to just 10 pages every time. That was just the length of this first, complete scene.

We will soon find out.

Hopefully, Mr Shepherd wants to help and congratulate Cory, but I suppose there’s always the chance that he’s really thinking: “Magnificent! Now’s my chance to kill the intruder, eat his heart, and gain his power!”

“Huh” indeed, part 2. oh, right. different objects take different levels of energy, I’m not surprised.
…that last panel is quite unsettling. Blue Dude’s expression is kinda ambiguous but still puts me off (and those fangs). Something about the blank background is Very Bad Feeling though. I’m concerned now.

“eek”. Let’s hope then that Cory is not lunch! Or potential lunch again!

Mmm. Tasty hearts of power…

If Cory could see it, he would be concerned too.

Keep sending those positive thoughts!
