A bad day for a bad bird.

Please note: These are work-in-progress colors. Vero should get me the final colors soon.

The only reason I’m able to keep making The Young Protectors is because of the very generous support of readers like you on Patreon. Especially now. And we had three new folks sign up over the last week! So, please join me in sending out a very special thank you and welcome to the new members of the Woolfpack this week!

So! The Blood Wolf literally just ripped out her own heart and is now fading away! And Almo the Sacred Sparrow is freaking out!

Is the Blood Wolf dying? Why did she give Cory one of her vital organs? What did she mean with that whole “you can only give your heart freely” speech? And will Almo really not get a chance to see Cory and Karthak die horribly?

Tune in this Wednesday to find out! Hope to see you there! 😀

That she moonlights as a relationship counselor?

Well, at least we’ll get to see them go on a big adventure.
With a bit of a risk of dying horribly, as a treat.

hmm… I don’t think Blood Wolf’s dying, exactly. but going somewhere else where she can’t be reached. and maybe that’s the same difference.
me being me the only parallel I can think of is in Twilight Princess-- Zelda gives her life energy to Midna and disappears, but returns later (after a battle to uh, de-possess her).

I replied elsewhere about that question Alex. “ick”.

The Blood Wolf would make a great relationship counselor, Nate.

Yes, Tink!

I like that theory, Julia.
