So!

So! Cory’s been brought into a barn and realizes he’s being treated like an animal. So, he tries to make his escape — and is immediately gripped with a massive headache!

What’s going on with Cory? Why are Karthak’s parents worried about him? What are the “Old Ways”? And can Cory get a refill on the water he dropped?

Tune in this Saturday to find out! Hope to see you there!

Is Cory suffering from the same sphere celestial disease as Mitch?

Good question. Wish I had thought of it!

So, do we see an inkling of realization from our young horned fellow that Cory may be intelligent?

That’s a very interesting question, Klaus.

I think we do.

Whoops! Pain probably doesn’t need any translation. But what cause the headache, and if it’s fixable does Karthak know what to do…?
Panel 3 made me laugh btw XD

Hmm. Sorry I’m late commenting.

Possibly this is same malady that’s affecting Flyboy, but I suspect, no, it’s something else. Hard to even speculate without more data.

The last time that Cory had a mental breakdown, he caused a rather dangerous mini-tornado. It would be a serious breach of hospitality if he accidentally smashed the barn apart, but y’know, that could happen. And Mati might decide this is a problem to solve with a well-placed arrow.

Or… or… Karthak seems to believe in magic. Perhaps there’s a local magician or oracle that can help our lads. This place might be completely out of range of the Grey Working’s effects and, if so, we might have a sane mage somewhere nearby.

Oh wait. Cory’s about to learn the local language via some convenient unseen device, isn’t he?

I was hoping someone would enjoy that.

Yet you still manage to come up with lots of great speculation, David. Fun for me to read.
