It’s my great pleasure to send out another, very special Woolfpack anniversary “thank you!” to the superheroes of this comic who have been supporting our work month after month!
First let me thank a pack member who has been supporting our work for the last 12 months as of this week (Dec 15-21):
Rose W.
(You totally rock, Rose!)
And let me also send out my biggest howl to a member of the Woolfpack who has been supporting this comic and our work from the very beginning!
This the awesome reader who has been supporting me and this comic for 48 months (4 years!) as of this week (Dec 15-21):
Martin H.
Thank you so much, Martin! Y’all are so awesome!
Thank you all so much for your amazing, ongoing support! It’s the consistent support that is what really allows me to continue making this comic. You all truly are superheroes!
So! Flyboy sees a way to fix everything! Or, at least, to get back to his own time, and maybe even to where Cory is at. But which “gal” is he talking about? What guy? And in what way would he be better than lie-flat seats on a private jet?
Tune in this Saturday to find out! Hope to see you there!
Hum. Bridal carry? Too damn tempting for Mitch! Unless Spooks mindwipes these events from himself? Oh as to future favorite panel vote? Page 9! Does that count? The whole damn page has some great characterizations on it. Fantastic facial work folks!
Sounds like the plan is to find Kanya and somehow get the bone fragment from wherever she got it from? Except this is a few years ago and who knows what her situation is. She might not even be working with the mob yet. And even if she is, would she be able to guess who she might steal from? And from what safe or secret stash?
Like, say it was the old mobster who had the fragment in a safe in the basement of the Spano Hotel. Is it safe to assume he’s been sitting on this fragment for a few years before Kanya stole it? Maybe he doesn’t have it yet. Maybe the artifact hasn’t even broken yet.
Like, in Mitch’s situation, I’d go find Kanya too, but there’s so many ways for this trail of crumbs to disappear if the trail hasn’t even been made yet. I imagine Spooky and Mitch will have to correctly make a few wild guesses and deductions. They’ll have to be awfully lucky.
By the way, how’s Fluke doing in this time period? Or any time period, really. Thinking of you, Paul! Feel free to make an entrance at any time.
Re: Mitch taking Spooky flying and how… I suspect Commander has had everyone participate in two-person training exercises, partly to boost teamwork and partly so everyone gets at least some idea how their abilities can work together. Mitch has probably tried all of the obvious ways of picking up someone and flying with them and knows his teammates’ preferences.
However, for a long trip from Oregon to Bay City, I bet Mitch will suggest he rent a car, use his credit card to pay for it, and then fly themselves inside it. Hopefully, he’ll realize that using a credit card from the future is bad mojo, and they’ll “borrow” a wheel-less engine-less car from some nearby junkyard instead.
