So! Spooky is suffering some kind of post-magic chills. And to fix it, he has just asked Flyboy to hold his hand! In bed! And now he wishes he hadn’t!

Will Flyboy be willing to forget what Spooky just asked? Will he now think Spooky is a total weirdo? Will things be totally awkward from now on? How much sleep is Spooky really going to get on that couch, with only a single blanket to keep him warm? And how will that affect his fight against Shades McEvil tomorrow morning?

I actually had a theory, back in the day, that Spooky’s chills are due to him missing (part of) his soul. I’m nt sure if the new information invalidates that.

Well, Spooks does imply that is all that is needed. Mitch may be weirded out. He hasn’t been exposed to this issue in his own time, has he?

now that I’ve had a chance to absorbs said nuclear cute ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶i̶s̶n̶’̶t̶ ̶e̶v̶e̶n̶ ̶m̶y̶ ̶f̶i̶n̶a̶l̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶m̶, it’s… pretty much everything. Spooky’s “cannot spit it out/must spit it out” face in panel 4, him calling it a lame issue, Mitch’s lil “…oh” and his wait hang on look as Spooky nopes outta bed-- aaagh these boys falls into a fluff pile
